Orzhov Midrange

Since all of the cards from the new set have been spoiled it’s time to brew up some decks! The deck I have for you today is a Orzhov midrange deck. This deck can fight on all sorts of levels. It can start out aggressive and force your opponent to interact with you, or it can kill all of your opponent’s creatures and sit back while one of your bigger threats takes over the game. Rumors, Rewards and Rowan

Alright commanders of the far distant future. We’re back for this weeks article. Now normally we have various game talks to engage in. Wether that be tactics or new releases and how they size up. Mono black is back!

Mono black is back! If you’re like me than you love playing as many basic lands in a deck as you can. You don’t have to worry about expensive lands, figuring out how many of each land you need so your can consistently cast your spells, and above all else you get to cast Mutilate! Here is the way I would build mono black in standard:

Drafting Tips

A lot of people have trouble with draft. They aren’t sure what colors they should play so they decide to just take their rare in the first pack and try to play those colors. While this isn’t the worst strategy, it isn’t exactly a sound one. When you open your first pack the things you should look for are bombs(cards that will win the game by themselves with no help from other cards), removal(cards that destroy creatures), and efficient creatures(creatures that are powerful for their mana cost).
